Alterra Property Group is seeking a Lease Administrator to join its fast-paced Industrial Outdoor Storage
(“IOS”) team. The Firm’s high growth IOS portfolio includes over 180 properties across 30+ states, with
sustained high growth anticipated in years to come. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop
within the organization, requiring an individual who is professional, well organized, and can deliver
meaningful portfolio-level insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end administrative process for all new leases and renewals, across a diverse
    portfolio of IOS assets held within multiple investment vehicles.
  • Coordinate and work with brokers hired to lease vacant properties as needed to support the acquisitions and leasing team.
  • Communicate with tenants as needed on lease related matters.
  • Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Acquisitions, Asset Management, Legal, and Property Management teams, serving as a point-of-contact for any lease administration-related matters.
  • Produce lease abstracts including key details upon request, serving as a liaison for any externally- completed abstracts when necessary.
  • Serve as internal owner of all lease files and supporting documentation within internal document management platforms, creating new workflows to improve processes.
  • Maintain tracker and renewal forecast for all leases, keeping all team members informed regarding upcoming key dates including handover, rent commencement, lease commencement, and notice periods.
  • Communicate with team members to consolidate all leasing-related updates into a streamlined report distributed on a weekly basis.
  • Provide ongoing reports and audits for team members related to executed leases and upcoming renewals, highlighting leasing spreads and valuation impact.
  • Respond to ad-hoc internal inquiries, including researching matters related to existing tenants, pending leases, lease approvals, leasing statistics, tenant buyouts, and early terminations.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lease administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-directed, with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Detail oriented team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Yardi strongly preferred.
